  3. I’m from a small town Hisar (in Haryana). I’m a die-hard fan of Vividh Bharti…have been an avid listener of Vividh Bharti for last over 30 years…I was barely 15, when I first introduced to the real ‘khazaana’ of great music and greatest voices ever heard on radio – the Vividh Bharti!

My favourite programmes are/have been “Ujaaley Unki Yaadon Kay”, “Bioscope Ki Baatein” (not being aired any more), “Sargam Kay Sitaarey”, “Hamaarey Mehmaan”, “Binaca Geet Maala” (now extinct), “Bhoolay Bisray Geet”, and all the interviews conducted by the legendary, greatest ever Compere of all times, the one and only “Ameen Saayani” as well as the other gifted announcer with a velvety voice, “Kamal Sharma”.

Listening to Vividh Bharti is always nostalgic for me, as it has been associated with umpteen sweet memories of my childhood and adolescence…my parents…my old, ancestral house…my old friends, who are no longer in touch with me!

Vividh Bharti is not only a source of pure, unalloyed entertainment for me, but it also provides me with a ‘positive and vibrant yet soothing’ energy.
